About Us
Your Rights Advocacy was founded on lived experience, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
We understand that navigating government departments, legal processes, housing issues, domestic and family violence, disability supports, complaints, and other complex systems can be overwhelming. Our mission is to ensure that no one has to face these challenges alone.
We provide independent advocacy, practical guidance, and personalised support to help people understand their rights, communicate effectively with services, and achieve fair outcomes. We work alongside individuals and families, empowering them to have their voices heard and ensuring they are treated fairly throughout the process.
What We Do
Your Rights Advocacy helps you turn difficult situations into organised, written submissions that can be properly considered. We are an independent support service built around lived experience and formal training in community services and counselling. The focus is practical: We Fight For Your Rights!!
Our services include advocacy, support with complaints and appeals, assistance with letters and documentation, referrals to appropriate services, and guidance through complex systems. We also offer support for people affected by domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, grief and loss, disability, housing issues, Centrelink matters, and other life challenges.
At Your Rights Advocacy, we believe that every person deserves access to information, support, and someone who will stand beside them during difficult times. We are committed to providing compassionate, confidential, and professional advocacy while empowering our clients to make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
Your voice matters. Your rights matter. We are here to help.
